The ambassador updated the Governor on underway joint projects between Vietnam and Moscow region and opportunities for collaboration between Vietnam’s northern Thanh Hoa and Quang Ninh provinces and Russia.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Russia Nguyen Thanh Son said the event manifests efforts made by Vietnamese people in Russia as well as the valuable and effective assistance of Russian authorities and people to Vietnam.
Those in attendance included representatives from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Federal Security Service, the Institute of Far Eastern Studies, and the Russia – Vietnam Friendship Association.
At a roundtable workshop held in Moscow on February 25 by the Far Eastern Branch under the Russian Academy of Sciences, scholars said the CPV has accomplished tasks set by the 11th National Party Congress.
In an interview with Vietnam News Agency correspondents in Moscow, Maxim Kochetkov confirmed that the two countries have coordinated in this field for years.
